Minelab Book

I just bought the book "Mastering The Minelab Explorer? by Andy Sabisch. I was all set to buy the machine but I found out I can't use it. I am on kidney dialysis and the shunt is in the arm I would use for the detector. My doc said I really shouldn't lift anything and I know the Explorer is a heavy machine.
Rather than going through the bother of auctioning it off I would like to give it away to someone on this forum.
I guess the only way to do it is to give it to the first person who emails me. I will keep the computer on and when I hear the first "You've Got mail" message and it's the request , that person will get it. I will email you back for your name and address and send it to you. Free of charge.

Tony;
I'm a doctor and an explorer user. Where is your shunt? If the machine is not going to put direct pressure on the shunt it should not be a problem.
The explorer is not all that heavy. you should be able to use it with either hand. Have you done metal detecting before?
Drop me an e-mail maybe we can figure out something. I am at work now and will not be able to answer an e-mail till tomorrow.
