Minelab Battery

Just ordered the Minelab X-cal battery from Only Batteries, the 45.00 one. As soon as I get it Ill let ye pirates know if its worth its salt or not. Also they sell a peak battery charger that an be used with it. It charges the battery with computer control at a faster rate than the Minelab charger. I already have one and im gonna use it and see how it works. Here is photo of the peak charger. (used for boys and dads RC helo batteries)

Thats the NiMH battery right I just bought one as well. The only issue I see with it is not charging to fast to make it hot NiMH were the same used in laptops that started on fire I think
so I will keep an eye on mine. Dan

Hey man, what do you have against Batteries Plus? You paid $5 more for what you got and they use your stock pack and stuff it with 1000ma NiMH for $39.95 out the door. Been lovin' mine. Still, $45 ain't bad. I'm out there tonight from 3 to 7...see you there.

Batteries Plus does 1000ma.........OnlyBatteries does 1500ma. Little bit more power.

The one I bought has a higher MAH than the one Batterys Plus has and they told me it would take a week. Cant wait, just got home from south of the pier, a little bit of clad and that was it, Robrcer did less than me. norm

Yeah, the time-factor was a little longer than I hoped for too...like 4 days. But the battery rocks.

So it's dead out there, huh? I'll be there in the AM...3 to 7. Glutton for punishment!
