Minelab 6" DD coil/Fisher F70 3x6" coil Question.

I will post this question in both the Minelab Xterra and Fisher forums. I have been thinking about getting the small 3x6" coil for my F70 but would like to hear from those of you that have used this small coil on the Fisher and also used the small 6" DD coil on the Xterra 50 or 70. I have and mainly use the small 6" DD on my XT50 and really like it's performance when it comes to separating and even depth. Would like to know if I really need to add the 3x6" to my Fisher F70, would I be gaining anything? Maybe I should just use the 5x10" on the Fisher and then break out the Xterra w/6" coil for the really trashy areas, any imput will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John

BTW, I have found silver dimes at 8" with this small 6"DD coil on my XT50, out of all fairness, our ground here on the Texas Gulf Coast, is very low on minerals, that's the reason I haven't bought the small Fisher coil because of the depth on the 6"DD......

Hi John, I have a friend that uses the Fisher 6" coil with great success on his F75. He said that it is hot on silver! I personally like small coils because they are not as prone to masking targets and can get in and around the trash. So I would definitely recommend the 6" coil for your F70. Ok best of luck and I hope you find that gold coin that is out there somewhere!:detecting:
