hello folks I have a question for you beach hunters...Does anyone on this forum use a 3500 to hunt the beach with, and if there is someone what coil are you or they using...I'm a nugget hunter, and coin hunter...I have used a quattro on a fresh water beach with great success...Hope a user of the 3500 might respond..

a few have used them on the beach

reports were good, but the coils were not waterproof, so they stayed on the dampish areas

holes were like 2 and 3ft. deep each

I have a wallaby and a platypus that I use on the 3500 I have used them in shallow fresh water, they are advertized as waterproof but you know how that goes,I surely thank you for the come back...p.s. with holes that deep I guess they are working alright...
