Mine lab x-Terra 70 not the 705 VS the 505.

Just wanted to know about the differences between the 505, and the 70. Are they comparable? Dose the 505 have the GB as the 70 not the 705. And if not how close are they? Was wanting to get a detector, but can't afford the 705, so was thinking about the new gold bug, but can't wait around. I say the 505 has like 50+ choices for GB would it work. Jess
 
Only the X70 & X705 have a dedicated Prospecting Mode with a couple of features important for Gold Hunting.

1. High sensitivity to small low conductors.
2. An Iron Mask which is a special type of discrimination that is limited to the iron range but with a large span of adjustment.
3. A tracking ground balance which will adjust to the ground automatically, which in gold bearing areas with varying ground can be very helpful. It's GB is also higher resolution allowing finer adjustment.
4. True All Metal with threshold.
