Set it on beach mode, auto+3, and seawater engaged. You can adjust from there. I like combined audio and ferrous coin myself. I change according to how things are going. Manual works great in some places but you may want to start with auto. If you have them available practice with gold and silver targets along with different coins. Get yourself a good scoop and dig it all we all have. Rinse your machine off EVERY TIME you bring it out of a saltwater environment. Good luck and HH

Just a thought.........do you know what the local laws are regarding artifacts? Some places get really picky about things leaving their country. Other than that, I wish you the best of luck.....find something good and share the pictures. If the CTX doesn't work out, send some good bikini shots!!
