Would like to know if the x terra 70 is stated a multi purpose detector would the the minelab 4500 be able to find items rather than gold .
 
Yes, the 4500 is still a metal detector but you're be spending (and wasting) an AWFUL lot of money for a dedicated Gold Detector which was not designed as a Coin & Relic detector. It would be like buying a Lamborghini just so that you have something to drive to the corner store to pick up your weekly groceries. Bit of a waste of money when the device was designed for another purpose. However, if you are hoping to spot other metallic objects on the gold fields... well, this is the top model for that sort of thing.
