New member
can someone help me find a miller scoop i was told they are the best ? is this true, can someone help with this thanks any pics

for me iv found the best scoop for hard pan bottom is the SS Sun Spot Stealth Scoop .but on sand iv not found any better than Reilly's Aluminum Scoops..his link is above on banner. this is the one i use.

Chitownbruce posted some pictures a while back of these scoops. (6-3-08 in the archives)

I have a friend that has a couple and wouldn't part with one.

I've always liked the looks of them, but prefered the handle and capacity of my "poor man's backhoe".

GL&HH Friend,

CJ

Do you know where digabighole can get one?

I found one a while back. From a dealer in the South. Don't recall the name.

It was leaning against a tree or fence. In the photo.

Just doing my best to help a new member.

I checked back and found the post , number 54, and the picture has been deleted.

It was of a copy then being manufactured and posting it was in violation of posting rules regarding post supporting advertisers and their right to have posts with competing ads or information not posted.

I don't know if it is still being manufactured, but as the Miller Scoop is no longer made pictures of it should be OK to post. (In my humble opinion.)

GL&HH Friends,

CJ

I have an original Sun Spot scoop that I've had for close to 16 years or more. I even ran over it and it didn't break. Buy the best, it pays in the long run.

He use to be Dixie metal detectors in jackson Mississippi.I try to buy all he had ,but he wouldn't return my calls. I.m tring to have some made to sell ,but having trouble finding someone to make them.A lot of poeple in that bus. in this area have on under,no money.

This is the best scoop that you will ever find. http://www.gold-scoop.com/thescoop.html

Miller is not in business any more. I used one ten years a go and it worked well. The new SS. scoops with the angle head work better then the miller did. The handle on my miller broke so I had a SS. handle put on like the new ones. It works well with less work.

Don't know who makes this one but I've been using it for about 10 years? TOugh scoop!
