Can you imagine how many bottles of Milk, this truck delivered over the years?? Which I had a nickel for each!

This brought back some memories. I had an uncle that drove a milk truck and delivered milk in glass bottles to customers early every day. I barely remember it, I must have been six years old. Kelley (Texas) :)

That truck would be a fantastic restoration project!

Back in the late 50's, I visited the farm of my mom's uncle in Illinois, just across the Mississippi River bridge from Keokuk, Iowa. In the barn, was a horse drawn milk wagon, with their family name on it, in pretty good paint, and general condition. His father operated a dairy in the late 1800's and 1900's. up until the latter days of the 1st Great Depression in the 30's.
