Went looking for info on the old Spencer and Henry rifles/carbines and stumbled on this site. Any of you who served in the military will find it interesting. A neat research site though for any one of us, curious about the artifacts and bullets we come across.

I was surprised to learn that repeating rifles were used early in the civil war years.I had thought they really only became common after the war.
