a guy on ebay is selling excal that he says was made for NATO instead of "p/p " it says "mine search ,, any of you heard about these?

I don't think it would be good for coin or jewelry hunting, mine detectors are made differently.

The unit was made for NATO, There was an overrun of about 20 units.

I have personally had 5 units come through our shop. I kept 1 for myself.

I have the headphone modded. And on a Straight Shaft (Lightning Rod).

What is the difference..............The military has a much tighter tolerance on the electronics.

So each detector had to be checked (electronically) after each process of build.
