milaca hunt

Went detecting whith my frend today we drove to princeton minnesota and then headed up to Milaca minnesota milaca was an old lumber town being on the rum river logs wher floated down the river after loggoing farming was king potatoe farms and then cattles we drove thru the old parts of town looking whith longing at all the old lots we ended up at the old railway bridge just west of town and i satarted looking along the river found a fishing lure and a nickle and a dime we went across the river to the cemitary and i found a dime thear 1966 really green not much else didnt want to dig to deep as i would not want to find a skull i could just see it -ohh i got a good signal " then up comes a gold tooth whith a jaw atached so we headedback across the river and started searching in front of the pavilion and started finding nickles and moor nickles ,im sure it was searched by somone using a fair amount of disc because i did not find one quarter all the nickles whear green deciced to call it a day since i forgot my digging tools it was a bit hard finding targets whith a screwdriver hopfully i will get out again this year befor the weather goes south beep beep
 
Nice thing about finding all those nickels ... who ever hunted there before missed any gold that was dropped too!
 
That's a bunch a nickels.

I got to where I use a screw driver most the time.

That and my Tiny Tec make fast recoveries.
