Mike lit a fire under me, here is a macro flower photo I took a few minutes ago...............

Mike posted a beautiful macro flower photo earlier today which got me started again on taking a macro photo. This photo was taken in AUTO MODE, but I did not use any macro provisions...took it using only the zoom. I had to turn off the auto flash because it kept coming on because the shutter speed was only 1/60. I found out that you do not have to use the macro mode to take a macro flower photo, instead you can use the telephoto zoom to bring the object to you. I do not know if you could do it this way if you were trying to take a macro photo of a bug...the bugs are a lot smaller than a flower. Please have a great day! Kelley (Texas) :)

And it does not take up the whole page like mine. However, my son is coming soon. Then I will learn to resize.

Well done Fred.
