Mike are there forest fires near you?.........

That being said, we sure can smell and see the smoke. This [or should i say these .... as there are now 4] fire is a persistent character. It has expanded exponentially over the weekend and has far more potential to create damage than the 2003 fires that we had.

Lotsa houses threatened, with some burned... 17,000 people evacuated..

But we are still a fair distance from it. And it does seem to be heading south..... not east. And while I feel for those people in its' path, I am thankful it is not heading in our immediate direction.

Take care

Calm seas

Micheal

They were talking about the fires. I may be wrong, but I think that years ago that Steve (Canada) on the Views Forum was a member of some of those forest fire teams. Please keep us posted. Kelley (Texas) :)
