You get it, I would be curious if that little coil works on the 1270. They are calling it a 4" but it is really a 3 3/4", I had one and it would work on my 1266x but the 1270 went nuts with it.

I've got that tiny coil too, works great with the 1266X, not sure if I used it on the 1270 though....though I did. !270's a great machine, I hope you get it.

The small coil for the 1270 is 4 3/4" on the outside. I have never learned to use the 1270. I have a 1270 with all three coils and never used it. I guess that is a waste hu.

On Fisher web site, search News ... Fisher posted that they still have some 1270's left if not gone by now, looks like they are phasing them out, If you want a New one check with Fisher to see if they still have still available.
