found this in deep mud today.. the cork/wax is still intact..it has what looks like a peach in it...so I guess it was peach wine/mead...everything coming out of the hole is perfectly preserved...copper still shiny,(no patina) and leather intact...I guess the deep mud worked kind of like a tar pit preserving everything. The mud sure does stink though!
