On the way home from the bank, I passed the MICHIGAN WORKS! building - as I do many times a day (a few blocks away from my house). Today I had to make a turn down the side streets and get some pictures.
This is the street side of the building - the very left end

This is the same side but the very right end of the building

This is the center of the building between the two ends

Here is the view from its parking lot side (main entrance)

I asked a neighbor across fron the building what happened. She said on Saturday it 'just came crashing down'.
Thank God there was no one in the building on Saturday so no injuries or deaths occurred. A lot of office equipment and computers have probably been totalled.
So if the Governor raises taxes now ya know who is paying to get this building fixed. (It had to have been a design flaw. Building has been there for a few years. Used to look nice inside too.)
