Michigan Treasure Hunters Autumn Weekend

Great weekend despite the poor weather up in Northern Michigan - we had it all, except for warm weather (wind, cold, rain, sleet, snow)! Finds were HARD to come by, but we managed to pull out some nice finds. On the way up north my brother and I stopped at a few places and I got several wheats, a '43 Mercury and a '43 Walker - I also found an old fair token. Once at the camp I uncovered several more old wheats (including an '11 and 2 '12's), 3 Indians (1888, 1902 and 1906), a holed 1908 Canadian largie, a '27 Buffy, a 1912 Barber dime, an old Sargent lock, a Dizzy Dean Winner's pin and some camp craft animals (several others were found as well). On the way home we stopped at another park and I got lucky with a very crusty 1880 Inidan. The CTX's perfomed very well - heavy iron and nails in teh old camp area - worked it slow in combined. All in all, a fun weekend with great company and a lot of laughs!
