Metro City vs Country

Hey folks - quick question (Ha!)

What do you think the best Tesoro is for the typical metro/city/fairly trashy area for coin and jewelry hunting - and what do you think the best Tesoro is for out in the country relic / silver hunting?

I am voting on Silver uMax with stock or small coil for Metro area's (And the Cibola isn't too shabby either) and for the Country country relic or silver hunting madness - I am thinking Outlaw or Vaq.

So far my Cibola has done a fairly decent job straddling both options (along with my ACE 350 - its a killer combo)

In my opinion the outlaw for relick hunting , and should be good for silver , I just have not run accross silver yet but its a beast of a relic machine

I agree with Gunnar on the Outlaw for Relic hunting out in the woods where you can use a shovel. I have personal experience with the Deleon, a small coil and a trowel (cherry picking) in the city where people are watching.

I don't own the V but do own the Outlaw. It's a great relic monster, deep, lightweight, and with 3 coils it's a no brainer. Mine has been quirky but still hits on any and everything under the coil with very respectable depth. Country woods machine all the way. Now my thoughts on a coin machine are much different than most on here. I just can't see running a non metered, non vdi, non display machine for coin shooting. I just don't see it as efficient. When I think of coin "shooting", I think of target shooting. My snub nose .38 is a great personal protection firearm and can hit targets at the range. Can it hit them as well as my S&W .22? Not in a million years. It will take many more shots, which translates to much more time, and alot more frustration. Coin "shooting" with a non display machine to me is same theory. The non metered machine is great to "clean up " once the metered has done all it can do. Thats how i like to think of it. This theory of course is for coin shooting not relic or prospecting. Don't need a screen for that.
