I was out metal detecting the other day and when I got a signal I looked at my meter and saw NOTHING. I was hunting in Iron mask but I could not find the digatal number of anything. When I switched to the other screen I could see that the Cross was in the Dime area. Sure enough I dug up a dime.
Then Today I had the same thing happen with no digital numbers, on a penny, and then on a nickel.
Is it time to send it in for a Checkup or is there something else ?

Every now and then get some wierdness like this where this is no target icon. Usually just cycle through with the detect button and it comes back. Never been more than a nuisance.
