meter attachment

I have run a search and can not find any closeup illustrations on how to attach the digisearch meter to the top of the handle. I know there must be some. Thanks.

This is what worked for me. One screw holding the V-clip on top of the handle. Pipe clamp keeping equal pressure on plastic cap around screw on top of handle. Hope this helps. HH. Matt

Nice simple solution!

Kind Regards,
Steve

Also, this type of pipe clamp works. Made of copper. Can be found at Home Depot or Lowes. Attach round part to detector shaft, attach V-clip to the other end, attach meter to V-clip and finally bend until you can view meter easily. I have not mounted one this way myself; I've only heard this is how it works. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks. HH. Matt

That copper clamp may work for some, but it was flimsy at purchase and lasted maybe 3 hunts.

The former owners of my Sovereign did a hack job of convering it to a straight shaft with the control box at the rear. I've repair it some but still not happy and I'm going to order a new complete rod assembly like this.

O.K. Thanks guys. I'll know what to do IF I do get a sov (see latest post on possible discontinuance above).
