meteorites

Last year i found a meteorite . Not with a metal detector , it was sitting on a frozen pond . Although i have not yet recieved it , i've ordered a MXT mostly for meteorite hunting . I'd appreciate some advice regarding using the MXT for this particular quarry . I'm thinking that either relic or prospecting mode would be o.k. but since most meteorites possess varying percentages of iron it seems that iron would be what i'm looking for so i don't think that i want to discriminate iron out . The meteorite i found is 210 grams with 60% of that being nickle . HHmmm.... Help , please .
