Is this a Meteorite? I know noyhing abought them .This belong to a friend,he has had in fo 25 years.He got it in CO
 
Check to see a magnet gets attracted to it. Also it should be very heavy for its size. These are two easy ways to see if it's a metallic meteorite. But the only way to see if is one for sure, is to have someone examine it. Try a college that has an astronomy class or similar. Either way, it is cool looking and makes a great piece to any rock collection.
