Metal Free Sneakers

New member
Does anyone make sneakers that are totally metal free? I'm tired of detecting my toes when holding the coil close with high sensitivity.

Vans Skater shoes!!!

I took one shoe out to check it before I bought, there was no problem at REI doing that. Oh, metal free Vargas walking shoe.

I usually wear a pair of slip on shoes when I hunt - their comfortable - have no metal eyelets and are only around $20.00 at Walmart's- check it out !

I don't believe there is any metal in Crocks but there not a sneaker. So comfortable !

I second that! Crocs are my go-to shoe for detecting. For cold weather or brushy areas I wear Muck Boots chore boots.
