Sorry for the crappy photo, but I'm using my daughters $15 digital camera. The mining pick is 15" long, I have found them in 3 different lengths. The log chain was used to connect logs end to end, 3 or 4 logs at a time, and dragged out with a horse. There is a swivel in the middle so the chain wouldn't break. The mattock head was found on a steep hillside along a log slide. The end is broke off, but was still used as the edges are rounded over. It has "character".
