You have been through alot bleaver.I like all the old Tesoro's you had.I am a Tesoro fan. There are a few more that i want to check out.I got the Tesoro Outlaw,Golden umax,Tejon.I kind of would like to try the x-terra 705 and the ATpro. Thanks for sharing. O
I would add a Minelab Explorer to your list of detectors to try out. If you are thinking of buying a Safari you may as well spend a little extra ... it's worth it, trust me.
I think I read somewhere that the guy that had all those detectors in that picture sold some of 'em.----He may have replaced them with more--ever more tho!
Thanks for sharing, You've diffently owned allot of detectors.
Spirit is right, get you an Explorer XS and add on the new pro coil. The Pro coil adds depth, and light as a feather. Plus, About $500-550 bucks will get you a good used model with Pro coil.
I lost track of what I've purchased in my lifetime, but do know it's up there.
As a collector, My current collection is three digit and growing.
The picture you posted is Carls collection, that's an old pic I beleive he's added more since.
.
Take care,
Paul (Ca)
I'm not quite as embarrassed as you might think. About 40% of those machines were acquired while I lived in England 1990-1994. I'd use them for a while and sell them on the economy at about the price I paid on them via Mail Order. Another 30% I bought used, and sold them at a minimal lost. The ones I bought new have paid for themself many times over. Over the years I figure I've found somewhere between 400 and 500 pieces of gold, several pounds of silver, Celtic coins, Roman coins and artifacts, I can't even list it all. I find the Finding is the most satisfying part of the hobby. I still go to Spain once a year for 2 to 3 weeks and my son is now stationed in England so I get over there fairly frequently too.
The 705 is a little deeper than the Tesoro's, They wont see chains very well. Havent used the AT Pro yet. But i've used about all thats in the picture as been detecting 42 yrs and was a dealer for 20 of those. Really like the Tesoros.
