I have recently purchased my first Metal Detector and low-and-behold a MXT and boy am I glad I've stumbled across this site. I think it is such a wonderful resource to aid in my training with
the MXT. My 9 year son and I have made some not so valuable finds but our optimistic approach keeps us excited on every dig. Thanks to the creator of this forum as well as all who
contribute their time and knowledge.

Hello Jim & Mitchell,
My wife picked up a MXT 300 last month and is still getting use to it.. I have had a DFX for almost 4 years now. It's a fun hobby and can be very lucrative too! I live in New Hampshire in the US. You should like the MXT my wife does. I have not used it long enough as my wife won't give it up long enough for me to get use to it.. Nice unit though! Best of luck and have fun! George

Welcome to the forum Jim and Mitchell!! We've got a lot of great people here and we all try to help one another out. You will love our MXT and this wonderful hobby. HH to all, Nancy

Way to go. In some respect we are all, wanna-be's as we should never quit learning. Give yourself an honest go and you will find a hobby that can last a lifetime.
