Metal detector tattoos

I've been thinking that some body art with a metal detector theme would look good on me. Any of you got some you're proud of? I sure would like some ideas.

Yeah, just a design of like what a NEL coil looks like on the arm would be immediately recognized by one of us, but to the general non-detecting public, it would look like a cool tribal design of some sort...and indeed be original and not common to see...
Mud

That's a good idea Mud! It'd look great with the right color background and maybe some great finds sprinkled around. No pulltabs!

I thought the same thing, Mud. Then I got to corporate logos and dismissed that. How about some hybrid of a round coil and diamond ring? Pirate themes seem popular. In my case maybe 50,000 zinc pennies and pull tabs with a ring on the other side. :detecting::pulltab::rage:

I got my first and last tattoo at the age of 19. It was a confederate flag in honor of my Great Grandfather who lost his leg in the Civil War. Never had the desire to get another. After all these years have passed all I have is a black outline as the colors have long since faded away.

Hmmm ... i like the idea, i currently have both legs from the knees down tattooed and all of my left arm, part of the right and a few others here and there.
i do tattoos on the side for friends and fun. that would be pretty neat to have a commonly recognized treasure hunters insignia ... anyone able should submit their ideas and have them voted on. winning image becomes the MD TH logo.

No thanks for me..Different strokes, for different folks.
I'm not a fanatic.

+1

I have talked with a lot of relatives with tattoos about the infatuation. All they can say is get one and you will want another one.

I often joked that the only tattoo I would get is a man pushing a lawnmower at the base of my bald head hair line!!! LOL

No thanks.

HH yall.
