Metal Detector Stand

I have owned several Whites detector, my present one is a V3i and wanted a simple stand to keep the detector up off the ground. The obvious advantages are to keep dirt and moisture out of the electronics. Here is a SIMPle stand I built for a couple of bucks that can be used on almost any detector I thought i would share with everyone. Made of 1/2 PVC and sanding the cut "T" flush so it will not wobble on the "S" rod and that it. You could make several at different heighs for different applications. One picture is worth a , you know the rest.

Most of the time I wouldn't need that but.....can think of several situations where that would be needed and appreciated! (Great idea TW!) I have two muck holes, that are producing, and that simple setup sure would be sweet for keeping the gear clean and dry for sure. (I think I even have those parts laying around?) Thanks for sharing and ! Scott

Welcome to the forum TW and thanks for sharing a great idea. I'm not the stand kind of guy but many others are.

Here is a pic of the stand i made last year. the legs being spread out really helps it from turning over on uneven ground. just a little different design but basically the same principal.
