Metal Detector Rental

MartinO

New member
My wife just lost her engagement ring when we were cleaning up debris around our damaged house in Washington.... :( We can't afford to buy a good detector right now, so I was looking online who might be renting them, but can't really see any offers. I would also be willing to rent someone's detector service, which might be the fastest way. Time is at the essence. What are our chances anyway to detect a white gold ring laying in grass? The area where it might be isn't too big which made me hopeful.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Martin

I will bet one of the guy's here would be willing to go look for it for you. Will they let out-of-towners into Washington, is my question? We have several members close to you.

Nancy and I can help Martin, maybe yet this afternoon or late morning. You can give me a call at 309-251-7230 so we can get the details.

Larry

Hi Martin. So sorry to hear you folks were in the tornado's path. Larry and Nancy are experts when it comes to recovering lost items. You can't get much better help than those two. I would love to give a hand but have prior commitments for the next several days.

Hello Martin. You have came to the right place. Nacy, Larry and many others in this club are very good with their detector. I'm sure Nacy and Larry will be able to locate it with no problems. Good luck.

Hi again Martin, we would like to get to your lost ring before the rain comes this afternoon so if you can call me we could be there in short order, we live in Eureka, just minutes away. FYI and others, there is no charge helping find lost items. 309-251-7230

We hunted until it started to rain this afternoon with no success, sorry Martin. Here is Nancy giving it her best. (Check out the background)

Thank you all for your comments and especially Larry and Nancy who spared no effort to come for help. I feel bad I couldn't make it in time to our house to be there the entire time you were hunting. Well, yesterday my wife thought she had lost the ring when she took off her work gloves close to the pile of debris in the picture. Today she thought it could have been anywhere on the premises, including the house (1st floor). I'm not sure if there is an option to continue the search, but if there is I would have to insist on rewarding you for your helpfulness (if you don't want to charge me for this job).

We will continue the hunt Martin, my unusual work schedule and weather will not allow me to get back until sometime next week but we will give you a call when we can
