one thing I have noticed is most people have no idea where they lost something like a ring...some of the postings of lost rings on CL say "missing somewhere between the mall and home" which means they have no clue!

My sister called and said she lost her wedding ring, wanted me to come find it with my detector...she had no idea if it was in the house, car, yard, pocket, laundry..:unsure:..Another lady insisted she lost her ring at the sledding hill when she took her glove off...so I hunted that place with no luck for days, kept calling her and asking "are you sure?"...when the snow finally melted, she found it on her front steps at home 10 miles from the sledding hill!:shrug:
