Hello All,
I was thinking about taking a metal detecting trip to England. There is one in particular if you google it using the words (metal detecting trip to England) you will find it the guy has been doing trips for years but in the summary it says you go to select places that have been pre picked by him and his team so that you do not get in trouble with the local farmers and there is people there to look up your finds. they also would like to know what kind of detector you will be bringing with you can someone tell me why this is important? also how do you know that they do not bury coins or artifacts before you get there remember the fields are pre picked out before you get there. Also at the end of the trip you have to hand everything over that is more that 50 years old to the guy running the trip so he can work on your export licences (this takes several Weeks) and then all of your stuff will be mailed to you my question is how do I know that I am getting my original stuff that i found in the field . Sorry for all the questions but the trip is alot of money and i don not want to get doped.
