Has anyone taken their metal detector on a cruise before and if you have, are there any concerns about taking your metal detector to a Caribbean Island? Would appreciate any feedback.
 
Hi.. Check out YOUTUBE..there are some videos of a pair of Detectorists that hit the beaches of various vacation spots..Mexico, Thailand and others.

Thanks I actually wrote Sint. Marten an e-mail and got a response from them in less than one day. They wrote back that there are no objections from anyone out there as far as they know.
 
I don't know about st. marrten but ive been takeing mine for years to mexico,i sure love the tourist,im a water hunter.
 
Which cruise are you taking .Ironically I am trying to find out about the same question you asked. Any info you find out would greatly be appreciated.Thanks in advance.Sonny
