Metal Detecting Michigan Park Hunt Silver Finds 9-7-2010

Hi Everyone, I met up with Mike and Doug at the park for some detecting. Doug brought home a ring and a few wheats, Mike dug his 66th silver coin of the year and 9 wheats. I was out a little longer than Mike & Doug. My finds of the day were 3 silver coins and 12 wheats. We spent most of the time, working the area where we dug the last couple hunt silver finds.
Thanks for watching and best of luck on your next hunt. HH DaveMetal Detecting Michigan Park Hunt Silver Finds 9-7-2010

You are getting a lot of really good finds. Your recovery method could use some improvement. Your plugs are really big, and you should be useing a drop cloth instead of throwing the dirt and sand all over. It should all go back in the hole. I have been wanting to comment on this for a long time, but haven't gotten up the nerve. I am sure a lot of others on here feel the same, but don't want to say anything.

Have to agree with burnshot on this. If you watch Goes4ever videos on the Etrac forum you can pick up some nice pointers. Not trying to be a smart a--. Its just getting harder to gain permission for places to hunt. Mike.
