Metal Detecting Michigan 1899 Barber Silver Finds

Hi Everyone, I met up with Mike for some detecting at a few city parks that were on our list to hunt. Our last park of the day turned out good for Mike, he dug a nice 1899 Barber Quarter, 1958 Washington and four wheats and some clad. That was mike's 57th & 58th silver of the year.
My finds were 6 wheats with 24 quarters. We will be heading back out to this park in the morning, this park looks like it will be pretty good in future hunts. It was a windy day.sorry about the audio.
Thanks for watching and best of luck on your next hunt ! HH DaveMetal Detecting Michigan 1899 Barber Silver Finds

I know the park your at and have been thrown out by the city workers and the park a few blocks from there too . There is lots of stuff there and lots of potential finds but the ticket for destruction of city property is not worth a few dollars in sliver . I would love to see some of the walks dug up that's where you will get the best stuff . The place your at is night Hawking territory . But still I love you videos , not many record there digs .

Very nice video.... good way to fill your holes too. I see no way they can say you're destroying property at all. Very responsible digging going on, and a good video for the hobby. If it's ok to hunt by city ordinance and you leave it the way these guys did, we'd all have better luck gaining permission to hunt cool places. Nice finds guys!!

Nice finds and video , thanks for sharing

enjoyed thanks hh.....Dan
