Metal Detecting Is Recession Proof And The Current Recession Actually Works To A Coin Hunters Advantage. Why?

Because there are now more people in many more places losing coins because they aren't at work. The best reason of all, is that many will be tapping into those one dollar coins they have been hoarding, and they will be spending them. More of those in circulation means more being lost for us proud coin hunters :super:.

Below is my finds from 2008. This has been my best year ever finding one dollar coins.

Lots of high value coins.
They sure look like gold coin color too bad their not:laugh:

You have done well hunting John. I would hate to think that I'm winning at some poor guy's expense though, I've had my best year as well in 1.00 & 2.00 coins sitting at 700.00 the total so far for 2008 is around 1300.00 all which has been given away to those that need it. Dan

I would like to see the U.S. use those coins! Heck that kind of hunting is sweet. Keep it going guys, Beale.

And that would also be good for the economy too. A big problem right now is attitude. People are scared, so they don't spend, so we have layoffs, defunct loans and the rest is obvious.
