Im looking for any detalited maps for metal detecting in germany where there were battles how long they lasted did the soldiers camp near by any time in history would be nice if you know of anything that would be much help Im stationed in germany with the army and like to do this as a hobby if you also know of anyone who is in germany and would like to meet up and do some detecting feel free to pass on my email address. jolin3762003@yahoo.com

OOPS sorry it is the X-Terra forum. Go to that forum and go to search then look for search of authors and just type in Bavaria Mike, and you will get all his posts. HH Dennis in Idaho
 
Jeff,

I detected quite a bit when I was stationed in Germany with the Air Force from '92-00. Depending on where your located, there are tons of places to detect. I was stationed close to the Belgium, Luxembourg border and visited mostly Battle Of The Bulge battlefields. PM me and I can guide you to some of those locations and also some good books with maps that should be in your post/base library. Take care and have fun.
