METAL DETECTING finds for thursday

7centsworth

Well-known member
I went to a yard I had hunted before about a year ago. It is a rental property built in the early 1900's. I hunt it when somebody moves out. I managed a really old childs ring with no stone a silver earring that the gravel had abused and a fake stud earring. One wheat and several other coins. I had fun. a lot of the pennies I could pinpoint without digging a hole. I used my 6 inch coil.

Glad you got out. Thanks for a metal detecting related post too!

Thanks Mike. I know this forum is getting way off of detecting.

My legs are going to be sore. One of the coins above is foreign. The one under the child's ring.

Very cool! I have yet to find a foreign coin. Well of course that doesn't include Canadian. I find those all the time.

I found three this year. Before that I don't think I had found any except Canadian.
