Metal detecting bucket list

I've started my "Metal Detecting Bucket List" on Pintrest, and I'm listing my first finds of a life time. Just got started so I have lots to put up, and hope you like it. Here's the link to it, enjoy!
I've included a picture of my first Cache' to tease you enough to check it out. I especially like the "Benevolent Protective Order Of Elks" 14k pin on an elks ivory!

Go find you some!

All these targets were found with either the whites DFX or the new V3i. The barber was found in the lake at about 3' deep with the V3i. I was pretty gutsy going out in the water with a land machine. I bought a water detector since then. (Fisher Aquanaut 1280).

Holy Smokes! I love that pop out merc!...and of course that 24k chain!:drool: You've been one busy fellow! thats a nice way to catalog finds there...! Cool!
Mud

Thanks Mudpuppy! I'm having the time of my life. I keep telling my wife I do it for the exercise, but of course it's more than that. I admit, I'm addicted. Love to look for treasures of the past and bring them to the light of day once again. More finds coming soon. Go get you some!

Great finds for sure. Fun to look at, if they could talk. I hunt lake bottoms too, drained, lowered or traditional water hunts. I had a blast with my V3i hunting drained lakes that normally I'd use one of my water units for.

Bruce;
I agree. I don't usually use the V3i or the DFX in the water, but I was getting a little desperate for a hunt. I am not happy with the Fisher Aquanaut, it seems to be the wrong mhz for gold jewelry. Great for silver and any other large objects. But the gold seems to be eluding me with it. It's beyond coincidence at this point. I think I'll upgrade to a more sophisticated machine with more infer than a beep, or type of beep.
