Metal Detecting ban gets some attention

Through efforts of myself and many others. we are working to reverse a ban on metal detecting in our locale. An article just ran in the Kansas City Star today through our efforts last week. I invite you all to read it, and to post your own comments at the end of the article for all to read. It's up to us to show the public the good side of detecting and combat these issues as they crop up.

We are tax payers- we should be allowed to use the parks. This type of thing needs to be fought wherever it rears it's ugly head.
