Having NO LUCK AT ALL so far finding a new Time Ranger at a price I can justify. Still considering your offer...is there a way to send PMs on this site? I may end up wanting to communicate with you if I can't locate something cheaper, but hate to post email addresses on forums (the SPAM issue!)

You said it's new and still in its box, right? Tell you what, I just won $25 in our fantasy football league yesterday, :) , and since you mentioned eBay, they happen to have sent me a 10% off coupon a couple of days ago -- but I have to use it by midnight tonight (the 31st). That gives me a little more money to work with, over and above the $150 I was hoping to pay. If you are willing to include shipping for that under $200 price you originally mentioned (I am in Oklahoma, not sure where you are, but I checked and the USPS parcel post rate for a roughly 1000 mile delivery is near or just under $10), then I'm in! If not, I understand -- I know you are trying to make a few bucks, so no hard feelings if you want to sell it to someone else for more.

If you are good with this, though, the only problem is that I'm working a night shift, and will be going to bed around 8 AM CST, and then will sleep to about 4 PM. I assume you'd do a "buy it now," and I'd hate to have you put it on there after I go to bed and have it get sold before I wake up! If you decide to list it before 8 AM Central, let me know (I'll check this thread before I go home, and then buy it immediately). If not, and you are then willing to list it around 4 this afternoon, I'll check eBay when I wake up. I have PayPal and assume that's the method of payment?

Thanks for your help and time!

I'm really sorry we couldn't hook up. I waited as long as I could today to see if you were available; I was working with that time deadline on my eBay coupon, so I had to jump on another one that was available here on the forum, in that other Time Ranger thread.

Thanks for making yours available to me, though. I apologize. Happy New Year!

No problem. Quite frankly, the other deal you got was actually quite a bit better than mine. Man, with the 10 inch coil you got with that you should be able to hit coins at about 18 inches! I am glad it worked out for you folks. In case your curious, I had got the one I offered you at Amazon for $169.99. I still have a return privilage on it and am going to return it. For the record, after I took it out of the box and looked at it carefully it had a couple of marks on its faceplate and the sticker on the 4 inch coil was put on crooked. It probably works properly but I never put batteries in it and tried it. You ended up with a kick-ass deal man! Best of luck.

Thanks for the reply. Glad you can return it to Amazon and get your money back; I'll tell you this though, from my digging into every possible option the last week or so, I feel pretty certain you could make a few bucks selling it on eBay, if you wanted to go through the hassle. The lowest priced Time Ranger on there right now is $299.99; yours would look pretty tempting, I'd think, sitting there on a buy it now auction for $200 or $225, brand new...

Anyway, thanks again for trying to help me out. I'm looking forward to getting that unit in my hands and trying out both the smaller and the larger coil! Let me know how you like yours, once you've used it a few times.
