Have you used your DX1 for prospecting and will it work on small pieces of gold.Looks like it could work around rocks and in cracks?:twodetecting:

Yes sir, It works great for finding small I mean very small grains of gold. I also stick mine in a balloon and tape it up to keep it water proof and use it in creeks to check up under rocks and ledges for gold deposits. a very handy tool when prospecting, its like having a real small hand held coil I just wish the cord was longer...........:thumbup:
I about forgot to mention it works great for working crevices also.
