Yes sir, It works great for finding small I mean very small grains of gold. I also stick mine in a balloon and tape it up to keep it water proof and use it in creeks to check up under rocks and ledges for gold deposits. a very handy tool when prospecting, its like having a real small hand held coil I just wish the cord was longer...........
