i hope all is well with my old friends here and that y'all have a good Christmas.
this is my first time on here in months.
been haven a hard year with the wife's medical issues but all seems good now this week. had some problems of my own with high blood pressure and had a lap-band put in to drop some weight. I'm down over 40 pounds and feeling good.
i haven't detected but once sense my last time on here and didn't find any coins but found a bottle dump from the 1920's. nothing great but it was my only time to drift back to the past and escape my problems of this years.
so if anyone wants to share some stories on this post of interesting things or trips detecting you have had please post them.
here's hoping to a better year this coming year to you all and merry Christmas to you and your families.

Hey Rob,

Glad to hear everything is getting better. Maybe you can do some winter hunts there in South Texas and show us some of your finds, maybe even a beach hunt. Take care and I look forward to reading some of your posts.

yea things should get back to normal next month. i hope i can get out and hunt. seen an old house that was just torn down next to the old depo in town. so i just have to get over there and hunt that spot. i looked at that spot on my 1921 map of town and the house was there. so it looks good.

Sounds like things are taking a turn for the better:thumbup:Looking forward to more posts from you if all goes well :twodetecting:
