First off I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.
It was 6 miles of walking but worth it I found the beautiful 1907 V nickel first the 1918 mercury dime was next then a clad quarter.
Then I had a nice 31 only a few inches down under the bank a nice 1949 Washington!
This is the same beach I pulled the 1910 barber off last week it never disappoints me this beach.
Tonight we got a storm coming in South Winds at 60+ miles an hour can’t wait to see what gets uncovered I also found that old nail bronze it appears.
My friend Was looking for arrowheads he found a nice one.
I’ll post a picture of that when I get it.

Nice finds & A Merry Christmas to you & yours! Ma

Curiosity question here...... where I am from silver comes out of the ground looking like the day it went in. You KNOW the minute you SEE silver in the hole that its not clad. Until seeing pics on here I did not know they would, well basically, look like clads. Depth doesn’t seem to affect them so thinking depth equals possible time in ground so what is it there that does that?

Yeah here to silver comes out of the ground silver but a good question this is a saltwater beach so the silver oxidizes and turns black or reddish in color.

Here’s a surface find point from
The same beach

Merry Christmas to you and all as well! Our silver comes out of the fresh water beaches blackened as well even in the dirt sometimes. The material your points are made of is so much different than our flint but the shape is unmistakable.

Here’s another silver quarter from yesterday did not know until I cleaned it lol unable to see the date.
