mercs & wheats......

You been busy over there! Nice mercs and wheats! 
The mercs all look to be WWII era. There could also be some war nickels where you found those mercs.
I've been busy trying to figure out what kind of backup detector to pick up in addition to my ATPro which i basically consider a clad machine in my experience.
So far its down to a Fisher 75 or one of the Nokta/Makro machines (which looks like its good in iron) or maybe even a Whites V3i. Even toying around with the Garrett ATX PI machine.
The mercs all look to be WWII era. There could also be some war nickels where you found those mercs.

I hunted with a guy once (only time ever hunting with another) and he had the ctx and I gotta admit that I seriously thought about looking into a used one...but then all the "issues" that seem to go with that machine killed that idea. I was REALLY impressed with how you can set up your bins(?) and also a few other nice little options on the ctx.
I'm still learning the Etrac and think I'll keep with it until I feel confident I've got it pretty well figured out. The thought of trying to re-learn another machine don't set well also. Might not have enough time.....lmao!

That little barrel reminds me of a toy saint Bernard I used to have. Had a little whiskey barrel just like that on a plastic chain lol. Nice finds
