I went to a heavily hunted beach and found a merc dime in about two feet of water and it was down around three inches. It rang up as a 12-45 an easy target for any Etrac or CTX user. I cannot believe this wasn't found twenty years ago. It wasn't in a trashy area nor has anything of significance changed from what I can tell.I am trying to figure out how it was missed all these years.Perhaps the CTX magically brought it up from the depths?
One thing I will say the CTX finds a lot more targets than my Excal II, when scuba diving my search area is greatly reduced due to the number of signals I am now hearing. I found a silver ring I missed with my Excal- too bad we can't dive past ten feet with it.
