My V3i is locked into the Expert Menu & doesn't want to get out.

No matter what i do, I can't get back into the Standard Menu.

I have pressed the Menu button up to 4 -5 times with no luck, & I have also removed the battery while the detector is on.

It doesn't seem to affect the performance in any way, & I can still change programmes etc., but I would just like to know what I did wrong.(if anything).:confused:

Can anyone solve the problem?:help:
 
You had yours setup the way I always run mine, with expert only checked. I never use the 6 block menu. One press of the menu I'm in expert, one trigger pull, I'm in search.
 
Yes, I agree Rob (IL). Now that I know what happened, I'm going to leave it in Expert...seems to be quicker & easier to change settings too.Thanks for the heads up.
 
If you have your live controls set up you won't have to visit the expert menu much. Then only the program section.
