Mens Wedding band found and returned same day

Today's beach trip was wife and two nieces and md'ing was only of time allowed. We arrived and I went for a short spin and was retunring to the others and a young man approached and stated he had lost wedding band three weeks ago and knew where he was and described the area which was a block away in front of greek food place in Ft Lauderdale. One which was directly next to where we had parked. I advised I would look and if I found where would he be and he stated right where he was. I aligned myself in front of the eating place and started at the waters edge. I could not have gone fifteen yards and got a hit. I dug and lo and behold it was a mens wedding ring. Since we had not really discussed the ring other than he stated it was plaltinum and diamonds. Well this was titanium and had stones in it and had some distiguishing black color in between. I went to area and asked him to describe the ring he nailed it to the T and I reached in my pocket and pulled it out. He could not believe it. I told him I would let him have it back on condition he let me take picture of the ring and him together and he agreed. When I arrived there were three guys and the wife was not with them as she had gone walking. He advsied others not to tell her he wanted to surprise her. As we arrived she was back and I asked of I could watch from a distance. He walked up to her and pecked her on the cheek and stated he had something to show her. He raised his hand and showed her the ring. From the distance I could hear the excitement is her voice and she asked how in the &*%$ he got the ring. He pointed to me on the side walk and she ran over and hug and gave me a peck on the cheek and was in disbelief. I advised the young man that was meant to be his ring and keep it tighter in the future.
The rest of the day was change and a couple of earrings ( yes I did find some more) and a little normal trash.
When i arrived at the beach there was another detectorist in front of me and I had decided to go the right as usually everyon else goes left. He turned left and I went right and then the res tof this story unfolded. SOmetimes it is scary haw many things in life are meant to be and how much we each play a part in the plans unfolding.
Hope all enjoy

No not much to show but the memory of the wifes expression will live forever in my mind. I told my wife that was more fun than finding the biggest ring ever to keep.

Thanks all

No kidding guy said he paid $900.00 for ring and her had a $300.00 ring maybe. He was a little upset when I told him what he had. I guess he never read inside the ring.
