Memory Loss! I field tested The Troy Shadow X5

They made 5,7,9 inch concentric and 5x10 dd..

Hi woodchiphustler, I hear ya on the memory loss, but there was also a 3x7 (?) DD for the X5. I had only the 9 and 5 for mine, (gave it to my son) but I have a digging buddy that has what I am pretty sure is a 3X7 that he uses on his X5 and he smokes butt with it ! It is definitely smaller than a 5 X 10. He had a problem with his first 3X7 and had it repaired/whatever, and was returned one the same size but "thicker" (heavier of course) but he loves that coil and uses it most all the time. As I remember those coils were rare to begin with and very hard to come by back then. I know I am old but hope I'm not so old as to be the only one remembering the 3X7 for the X5. Monte will likely know the stats! LOL, HH, Charlie

I talked to my digging Buddy and he said the coil he uses is a 5X9 so that is no doubt the same 5X10 that you spoke of. LOL, so if there is any confusion now it is caused by my memory loss! Sorry about that!! Its good (really is too !) when us old farts have a good excuse. I did not want that to go answered incorrectly so I called m y Buddy and asked him. HH Y'all ! , Charlie

NEL is selling aftermarket coils for the X5/X3
that are larger than 11 inches on Ebay if one
is needed. Mike

Yes they are. My friend Adam Changed the plug om my NEL Hunter for the F19 and it works great. Now if I could only remember how to work the controls. LOL
