Memorial Day weekend the beginning of summer is here at the beach :thumbup:

I got to the beach early this morning so I could see the sun come up.This is my favorite time of day.Quite and not many people out yet.There were a lot of Va.Beach Surf Pirates out and met some new ones to.First man I run into was Roger.He just got into metal detecting last weekend when he bought a new Bounty Hunter at a garage sale for $10. Then I ran into Claude Grant from Va. Beach who had just bought a new whites machine.Said it was the first new machine he had bought in 20yrs.He had just dug up a 1938 walking liberty down by the pier.2nd half dollar I have seen come out of there in the past month. I did not find any gold or silver today but had a nice time.About 9am I see Sanddigger coming down the surf lane with her Excalibur .We chat for a while and then I keep heading back north and here comes Tim and Max.Got the hand shake from Max but it did not do me any good this weekend.Hope it worked for him. Went on further north and here comes JT from Virginia and he has his daughter for his digger today. Well here is a spin down the lane.

Robrcer and I hit it last nite 6th street to the pier and a ways back untill my x-cal started yelling at me, low battery, we both came home with maby 50 cents in change but what a great nite to be on the beach. It should be a killer day today for the beach crowd.
